0 CAT Government - The Broken Promises

Penang Malays from PR are fed up with the current political tone in Penang, especially with signs of a looming general election, they said the issues raised should be about the people and not just 'politics' which the ADUNs of Penang are just propagating day and night instead of producing more affordable housing in the state for the people. There were lots of broken promises by the so called Penang CAT Government that can be listed out. Below are some promises left idle. The list is not exhaustive, there might be some that I've left out:

• Declare personal assets.
• Hold local government elections.
• Cancel weekend and night car park charges.
• Change leasehold to freehold land conversions.
• Build monorail, subway, skybus and cable car.
• RM30 million to build elevated highway to improve Green Lane traffic.
• RM400 million to build Penang Inner Ring Road (PIRR)

Oh ya! And where is the Tiger Park you announce Mr Chief Minister from Batu Pahat? This Penang PR Government is only NATO (No Action Talk Only!).These PR Politicians have ceaselessly continued debating about themselves. They have forgotten about the people here despite genuine cases of them suffering from health, mental, or monetary breakdowns and they failed to notice that the costs of living are shooting up since 308, while the stress levels are also rising due to the severe road congestion gripping Penang due to the inefficiency of the state administration into road expansion program since taking over. 

These PR Malays also wants DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng, who is also Penang Chief Minister, to declare once and for all whether the party would be fielding Malay candidates in the next general election as they can see LGE is only interested to field the Chinese whom he trust to be faithful to him distrusting the Malays of being bought over and that DAP MUST become a dominant political force while PKR and PAS have failed the Malays miserably in Penang caused by the action of the CM discarding the interest of the Malays. 

The Malays have no stable channel to express their grievances about socio-economic issues in Penang, particularly about affordable housing and relocation of squatters as LGE pays more attention to his own DAP party and busy over his private affair with Rainbow which created Headline. In the end as Tunku Aziz say LGE cannot be trust and will ignore the Malays when his support increase. Time for the Penang Malays to have a second look into LGE's face and see properly under a microscope and not eventually being played out like the Indians of Kampong Buah Pala. God Bless you.
