Stressing that the report was misleading, Lim said that when he answered the daily's reporter who telephoned him on Tuesday, he had said that the BN MPs' trip to Taiwan was clearly to foil Anwar Ibrahim's Sept 16 plan and this sparked a lot of talk and rumours in the country.
"I mentioned that among the rumours was that the BN MPs would be given RM500,000 each. In reply to a question by the reporter whether I knew the person paying the money to the BN MPs, I said that a name was mentioned in the rumours but it would not be right for me to mention him.
"I did not say that the BN MPs in the Taiwan trip had been paid RM500,000 each or that I knew who was the person who paid them," he said in the latest posting in his blog - www.blog.limkitsiang.com.
Information chief Tian Chua (Batu MP), strategic director Saifuddin Nasution (Machang MP), election bureau deputy head Fuziah Salleh (Kuantan MP) and supreme council member Low Chee Cheong will be on a 2pm flight today.
Cucu Tok Selampit: This Flip Flop De Facto Leader is really desperate. All he want is to do is create a new drama so that his dumb supporters will always be remind that the process to topple the government unethically via the back door is still carry on!
The Pakatan Rakyat opposition coalition on Thursday said its plans to form a new government on Sept 16 might be delayed because of several reasons, among them the study trip to Taiwan currently by 49 government backbenchers.
However, the coalition was confident that it would still be able to form a new government to replace the Barisan Nasional soon, Pakatan Rakyat said in an e-mailed press statement.
The statement carried the names of Datuk Salehuddin Hashim, the secretary-general of Parti Keadilan Rakyat; Loke Siew Fook, Political Education director of the DAP and Datuk Kamarudin Jaffar, PAS secretary-general.

A group of graduates, highly established in their careers, got together to visit their old university professor.
Conversation soon turned into complaints about stress in work and life. Offering his guests coffee, the professor went to the kitchen and returned with a large pot of coffee and an assortment of cups - porcelain, plastic, glass, crystal, some plain looking, some expensive, some exquisite telling them to help themselves to the coffee.
When all the students had a cup of coffee, the professor said: 'If you noticed, all the nice looking expensive cups were taken up, leaving behind the simple and cheap ones. While it is normal for you to want only the best for yourselves, that is the source of your problems and stress.
Be assured that the cup itself adds no quality to the coffee. In most cases, it is just more expensive and in some cases even hides what we drink. What all of you really wanted was coffee, not the cup, but you consciously went for the best cups... Then you began eyeing each other's cups.'
Now consider this, said the professor, 'Life is the coffee; the jobs, money and position in society are the cups. They are just tools to hold and contain Life, and the type of cup we have does not define, nor change the quality of Life we live. Sometimes, by concentrating on the cup, we fail to enjoy the coffee.'
God has provided us. Enjoy your coffee!'
The happiest people don't have the best of everything. They just make the best of everything. Four things to take note of in life...
1. Live simply.
2. Love generously.
3. Care deeply.
4. Speak kindly.
Shine a light & enjoy your Coffee today!
Opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said today he will topple Malaysia's government by early next week despite a trip abroad by ruling coalition lawmakers that he claims is aimed at thwarting his plans.
The three-party opposition alliance can seize power if at least 30 members of Parliament defect from the Barisan Nasional coalition, and Anwar said he would fly overseas if necessary to meet with lawmakers he hopes to lure to his side.
He has vowed for several months to take power by Sept 16.
"We're working on it," Anwar told reporters. "There are technical problems because (the lawmakers) have been shipped away. ...God-willing, it will (still) happen. If need be, I will fly to Taipei."

1. To address illegal Indonesians' working problems
2. More responsible budget
3. To dumb pro-Malay policies
4. To cut deficit
Anwar said he would replace the New Economic Policy (NEP) launched in the early 1970s with a system to boost all poor Malaysians, whether they are majority Malays or from the minority Chinese and Indian communities.
"We will do everything in our power and disposal to help and assist the poor and the marginalised, which means the vast majority of the Malays and the poor Chinese and the poor Indians, but we do it on a needs basis," he said.
He also promised to abandon the Approved Permits (AP) scheme for importing cars, which it is claimed has corruptly enriched a small number of Malay entrepreneurs.
"Those talking about Malay dominance would realise that the AP is a classic case where the Malays and the Malay name has been abused, raped and plundered by the few," he told a press conference.
Cucu Tok Selampit: Malaysia will be doom under him. May Allah protect us from this hypocrite and greedy person.
